Chaotic Wrestling presents its biggest show of the summer, SUMMER CHAOS:
RISING TIDE this Saturday night, August 9th at the Tewksbury Holiday Inn
in Tewksbury, Massachusetts! Doors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at
8:00pm.
Three huge title matches top this gigantic card:
MAIN EVENT
CHAOTIC WRESTLING HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"LATIN FURY" LUIS ORTIZ (champion) vs. "LIFE SAVER" BILLY KRYPTONITE
(challenger)
LAST MAN STANDING MATCH
In the main event of SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE, the Chaotic Wrestling
Heavyweight Championship is on the line, as champion "Latin Fury" Luis
Ortiz puts his title on the line against the #1 Contender "Life Saver"
Billy Kryptonite in a LAST MAN STANDING MATCH. The rules for this match
are simple —no pinfalls, no submissions, no countouts... just a
no-holds-barred battle, where the winner is the man who knocks his
opponent down for a count of 10.
There is plenty of bad blood going into this match between Luis and
Billy, with both men holding a recent pinfall victory over the other.
Back on June 20th, Ortiz successfully defeated Billy in a singles
contest. Then on July 18th, Billy evened the score by gaining an upset
pinfall on the champion in a tag team contest. But Kryptonite wasn't
happy with just the win, as he continued to decimate Ortiz by hitting
him with two of his patented Tidal Wave moves onto a steel chair,
sending a message to the champion that he was a legit contender to his
championship. After the match, Ortiz and Billy agreed to the LAST MAN
STANDING stipulation for this bout, and both had some choice words for
each other when CW cameras caught up with both men (video of both
interviews can be seen on the News page of http://www.chaoticwrestling.com).
This Saturday night in Tewksbury, these two men will do anything in
their power to knock their opponent down for the 10-count, and prove
that they belong at the top of the CW mountain. Will Ortiz continue to
cement his legend as one of the best Heavyweight Champions in CW history
with a win? Or will the "tide" continue to rise for Billy, bringing him
to the biggest gold of his career and ending Ortiz's reign? Find out
this Saturday night in Tewksbury at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE!
CHAOTIC WRESTLING TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
ATTRITION (champions) vs. ADAM BOOKER &FRANKIE ARAMADILLO
(challengers)
NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH
For 6 months back in late-2002/early-2003, "The Trendsetter" Adam Booker
and "Mr. Muscles" Frankie Armadillo (managed by the lovely Miss Kristy)
held a firm lock on the CW Tag Team titles. During that time, a new team
formed with Studd and Angers joining forces to become the team of
Attrition. After winning a few matches, Attrition felt like they
weren't getting the recognition that they deserved, so they concocted a
plan —attack the Tag Team Champions from behind and injure one of
them. After a successful title defense by Booker &Armadillo,
Attrition blindly attacked the champs and proceeded to break Adam's
wrist by crushing it with a steel chair. Attrition's plan worked, as
they caused Booker to require surgery and put him on the shelf, forcing
Frankie to find a substitute partner for the COLD FURY II event in
January 2003. That night, Attrition became the new CW Tag Team Champions
by pinning Adam's substitute... but Attrition never pinned Booker or
Armadillo to win those belts.
Fast-forward to April 2003, as Adam's injury healed and Booker
&Armadillo picked up where they left off, with major wins over every
team they faced. But no matter how much they proved in the ring,
Attrition would not grant them a return match for the titles, instead
hiding in 8-man tag bouts and singles matches while Adam &Frankie
got more and more hungry for revenge. Attrition could not hide forever,
however, as Booker &Armadillo finally got their shot at the belts on
July 18th in Methuen. In a match that was six months in the making, both
teams went at each other with everything they had, and a melee ensued.
In the middle of the battle, referee Mike Crockett was shoved by members
of both teams trying to get at each other, and he had no choice but to
disqualify both teams. But the battle didn't stop there, as Miss Kristy
decided to get physically involved. As Kristy went for a top-rope
hurricanrana on Studd, she was caught by Studd in mid-air and brutally
powerbombed in a disgusting act of violence (video footage of the
powerbomb, along with comments from Booker &Armadillo are available
at this link).
Chaotic Wrestling officials had no choice but to make a rematch between
these two rival teams at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE, but this time there
will be a decisive winner, because this match will have NO
DISQUALIFICATION! Will Booker &Armadillo finish their long journey
and finally regain the titles that they never really lost, all while
getting revenge for all of the pain and suffering that Attrition has
dished out to Adam and Kristy? Or will the powerful team of Attrition
keep their astonishing tag title run going, and stifle the challenge of
their most hated rivals? Order your discounted tickets now at our online
store to find out!
CHAOTIC WRESTLING NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP
"GOOD TIME" VINCE VICALLO (champion) vs. "INTELLECTUAL" ARCH KINCAID
(challenger)
For the first time since turning on his friend two months ago in
Tewksbury, "Intellectual" Arch Kincaid does battle against the CW New
England Champion, "Good Time" Vince Vicallo in a major grudge match this
Saturday night. Vicallo's title is on the line, and it's a given that
both men will pull out all the stops against each other in this match.
Arch has undergone a complete change of attitude over the past few
months; once one of the most beloved wrestlers in Chaotic Wrestling,
Arch has done everything in his power recently to attack anyone and
everyone who even looks at him the wrong way. First he turned on Vince
Vicallo by smashing a full case of beer across the back of his head, and
then he followed that up with a cowardly attack on the helpless CW
merchandise girl Sparkles (video of this attack can be seen at this
link). Now the time has come for someone to stop Arch's warpath, and
Vicallo will stop at nothing to beat some sense into Kincaid for what he
has done to him.
Will Vince be able to avenge these recent gutless attacks from Arch -
not only for himself, but for Sparkles as well? Or will Arch continue
his evil ways and take Vicallo's New England title as well? Get your
tickets now to see for yourself!
Other matches scheduled for this Saturday night in Tewksbury:
* Chaotic Wrestling officials have signed a gigantic ROYAL RUMBLE match,
with the winner becoming the #1 Contender for the CW Heavyweight
Championship and earning a title shot at the champion (either Luis
Ortiz or Billy Kryptonite) on August 23rd in South Portland, Maine.
There are already 20 men who have signed on for this match, and we're
sure even more will sign up over the next few days.
* Continuing the heated feud between The Local Legends and Black
&Mini, a singles match has been signed between members of these
teams, as Local Legend Dukes Dalton goes one-on-one with the returning
Brian Black. Back in June, the Legends put Brian on the shelf for six
weeks with a separated shoulder as a result of a brutal assault with
aluminum baseball bats. Brian has rehabbed the injury, and is now out
for revenge in this match. There have been rumors over the past week
that Dalton's tag team partner Tim McNeany will not be in attendance
this Saturday night, so it will be interesting to see if Dalton can
continue his recent winning ways without his partner by his side.
* Also wrestling this Saturday night - Handsome Johnny, "The Promise"
Antonio Thomas, The Mighty Mini, The Lost Souls (Matthew Evagrius and
his follower Peter Mulloy), and the debuting Striker!
