NEWA Television Title Match
“The Mighty” Mini
v.
Ring of Honor Superstar
“Hurricane” John Walters
-The Mighty Mini has earned the reputation of being the biggest punk in the NEWA and quite possibly the whole wrestling world. “Hurricane” John Walters has earned the rep as one of the greatest all-around strong style wrestlers in this country right now. Walters has competed in the NEWA in the past and an met much success. The Mighty Mini asked the NEWA to provide him with a top notch challenger on the biggest show of the year. The scramble to find a challenger ranged from former champs “The Miracle” Mike Benoit who issued a challenge to Grayson Alexander, LowLife, Shawn Tayzer, to “Lifesaver” Billy K, all men had other issues to handle. Can the Mighty Mini’s mouth get him out of this situation or will Mini become another victim in the trail of beaten bodies the “Hurricane” has left in his path to the top of the wrestling world? The Television title is on the line and one person will walk out champion. This should be a classic….
NEWA Tag Team Champions
The Score (MCAS & SAT)
v.
The Self-Proclaimed Real Tag Team Champions
The Made Men (Vinny Guiliani & Tony Cianci)
-The Made Men have made life hell for The Score so far this year. These two teams have a past in other promotions that plays into there current rivalry. It seems The Made Men have held some of the same titles The Score formerly held, but all the while The Made Men were piling up these titles, the fans would always say they were never as good as The Score. The Made Men finally caught up to The Score in the NEWA this past spring, walking right into a Score interview and showing the stunned crowd a set of tag team titles and proclaiming themselves as “The Real” tag team champions. The Score taking immediate offense due to all the hard work they put into winning the NEWA Tag Team Titles. The Score and The Made Men have done some irreparable damage to each other physically since this feud started. Most recently The Score defeated The Made Men in Quincy Ma on Aug 22, The Made Men never ones to take something lightly decided to destroy MCAS & SAT with a chair all the while screaming it was a fluke, “You’s guys could never beat us twice”. NEWA BOD Spokesman Quentin Michaels stepped in to stop the onslaught and proceeded to challenge Guiliani & Cianci to put their money where their mouths are. Quentin proposed a best 2 out of 3 falls match for the NEWA Tag Team Titles. The hotheaded Made Men noticing the damage they did to The Score accepted. Are The Score healthy enough to make this match and if they are is there enough in the tank to win? The Made Men sense weakness and feel the champs are ripe for a big loss.
“Lifesaver” Billy Kryptonite
v.
“Big” Brian Rogers
-At 6’5 and over 400 pounds not many men have the guts to stand up to someone like Big Brian Roggers, well Billy Kryptonite did. It doesn’t help opponents and fans that The Mighty Mini on a whim will just randomly decide to have Rogers destroy something or someone. It was thought no one could stop him. That was until “Lifesaver” Billy Kryptonite came to the rescue of ring announcer “Stormin” Chris Norman, who was on the verge of being demolished by Rogers in Attleboro Ma on Aug 16. Lifesaver hit Rogers with a punch, that would have flattened a normal man, Rogers shrugged it off. These two engaged in a battle that was intense, Kryptonite could not get Rogers off his feet. Constant interference by The Mighty Mini led to Rogers getting Dq’ed. “Lifesaver” Billy K, was asked by the NEWA to stop Rogers dastardly tactics. Billy K has accepted this challenge for the NEWA and all its fans. Will Rogers leave his feet? Can Billy K pin Rodgers shoulders to the mat? We shall all see……
Jose Perez
v.
“Goodtimes” Vince Vicallo
-These two well respected grapplers of the New England scene. Jose Perez while well known for being a master of Hardcore wrestling, is on a mission to show that he is one of the best all round wrestlers in this area. Vince Vicallo has wrestled for the WWE, NWATNA, he is the current Chaotic Wrestling New England Champion. He is going to be one of the best in this industry if he keeps up this torrid path. They met once in the NEWA in Attleboro, Ma on August 16, 2003. Jose Perez squeaked out a win which caught Vicallo by surprise. Vicallo being the sportsman that he is shook hands and drank a beer with Perez to celebrate his win. This rematch was requested by both combatants, Jose Perez wants to show that he is the better man and his win wasn’t a fluke, Vicallo wants to prove that Jose Perez caught him off guard and it cant happen again. Lets see who the better man is…….
“The Miracle” Mike Benoit
v.
Grayson Alexander
-This match was made on Aug 23rd, 2003. Mike Benoit has undergone a change of philosophy since his NEWA debut back in February. He came in as a straightforward hardworking young man. He came in contact with a friend from his past, Grayson Alexander. Alexander at the time was manager of The Score. These two struck up a questionable chemistry that had many in the locker room, The Score included, scratching their heads. They seemed to be all over each other in a manner not seen much in a men’s locker room. The chemistry started to work almost immediately as Grayson lead Mikey to the NEWA Television title with an impressive win over LowLife. They have been locked in a feud with The Mighty Mini who defeated Mike Benoit for the Television Title. These two seemed inseparable until Mike Benoit went on vacation this past July. Rumors started swirling around that something happened in Provincetown during the parade ceremonies that Mikey was part of. These rumors were never confirmed but things appeared to be kosher between the two. Until Aug 22, when right after a hard fought loss in six man competition Grayson came out to help his supposed paramour, but like a strike of lightening Grayson delivered a stunning DDT to the obviously fatigued Benoit. Mike Benoit immediately called up the NEWA offices and demanded a way to get his hands on Grayson. Grayson for reasons unknown has accepted the challenge without a second thought. When asked why he did what he did, he hung up the phone. Judging from “The Miracle’s” demeanor, Grayson is in for a long night……
