All Star Wrestling returns to Campbell High School in Litchfield, NH on Friday, September 19th with a bell time of 8pm. Matches already made include;
DOUBLE MAIN EVENT;
AWA America’s Championship Bout:
“The Fighting Frenchman” Jacque Pierre(challenger) vs. ZR Xtreme(champion)
-Rookie sensation ZR Xtreme continues to “live the dream” as AWA champion. Following his unbelievable upset win over Maverick Wild for the title, the spunky ZR has gone on to defeat challengers such as “Fabulous” Johnny Vegas and “Enforcer” Larry Huntley. In Litchfield, he faces a different sort of challenge all together in Jacque Pierre. Pierre holds a substantial weight advantage over the champion in addition to being a vastly underrated wrestler and possessing a keen analytical mind. This could be Pierre’s night to grab the gold for the glory of France.
Greg “the Hammer” Valentine vs. “Iron Man” Tim Walker
-Greg Valentine has been on quite a run since entering the AWA. Valentine is determined to move into title contention, and break the legs of anyone who would get in his path. On the 19th, however, he crosses swords with “Iron Man” Tim Walker. Walker has a reputation as strong, hard working, tough and tenacious professional wrestler, and has used these qualities to win the AWA America’s title in the past. He matches up well with the legendary Hammer, who displays many of the same attributes. Of particular interest to a Figure Four Leg lock master like Valentine would be Walker’s recent return to action from knee surgery. Whatever the case, fans can expect a hard-hitting affair with this one.
FEATURE BOUT:
NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
“Big Daddy” Dave Walker(Challenger) vs. A.J. Storm(Champion)
-A classic size vs. science matchup. Big Daddy Walker(no known relation to the Iron Man) has been an AWA mainstay for several years with a bruising, roughhouse style that has sent many a grappler home nursing a battered body. A.J. Storm, on the other hand, has been wrestling now for just over a year and is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential as the New England Champion. His ability to confound opponents with his smooth style is rapidly making him one of the most talked about wrestlers in the area.
Other bouts:
Dr. Heresy vs. the Amazing Egghead
-The last time the highly touted Doctor faced the immensely popular Egghead in Nashua, the Amazing One almost proved to be too much for Heresy to handle. The Doctor did manage to come away with his unbeaten streak in the AWA intact in a match that the fans couldn’t get enough of. Will Heresy go 2-0 against his 305-LB opponent, or will “Eggamania” run wild in Litchfield?
Also appearing… “Trendsetter” Adam Booker w/ the Beautiful Ms. Kristy…Jim Nastic… “Flyin” Brian Fury… Flash Farenhyte…Christian Angers…Maverick Wild… “Dirty” Scott Dickenson and much more!
The All-Star Wrestling Association returns to the home base at Saint Stanisluas Hall on Pine Hill Rd. in Nashua, NH on Saturday, September 20th with a bell time of 8pm
DOUBLE MAIN EVENT
AWA America’s Title Bout
Dr. Heresy(Challenger/#1 Contender) vs. ZR Xtreme(Champion)
-Unbeaten and driven to success, Dr. Heresy has made the AWA America’s title priority one since entering the AWA. While not a fan favorite by any stretch of the imagination, the hated Heresy has been most impressive over the last 3 months. The Doctor now has the goal he has covets within his grasp. On September 20th, he will have the opportunity to face current America’s champion, ZR Xtreme. Both men entered the AWA around the same time. XR Xtreme was given a title shot following a non-title win over then champion Maverick Wild, and he took advantage of the opportunity to the fullest. Heresy resents the younger, less experienced champion. He feels that ZR Xtreme had a golden opportunity handed to him on a silver platter while he had to run the field of AWA contenders to get the same shot. ZR Xtreme, however, has proved to be an immensely popular young champion with guts that outweigh any experience. This is the toughest challenge of Xtreme’s reign, however. Will it be Heresy winning the gold with the “Couch Trip” or will it be Diagnosis: Xtreme on the 20th?
TAG TEAM BOUT:
Greg “The Hammer” Valentine & Fabulous Johnny Vegas vs. Captain USA & Maverick Wild
-This match contains many interesting and volatile elements. Last time in Nashua, “the Hammer” sent Captain USA to the hospital when Manager Johnny Vegas hit him in the leg with the Captain’s wooden shield and Valentine refused to release his dreaded figure four leg lock after the match. At that same show, Vegas and his other protégé’ (and Wild’s cousin)Flash Farenhyte attacked Wild following a tag match featuring Wild and Farenhyte vs. Jim Nastic and Super Rhyno. Wild gained a measure of revenge after beating Farenhyte on August 9th in Newmarket, NH. That same night, however, Valentine eked out a victory on Wild with his feet on the ropes in Valentine’s toughest match in the AWA yet. You have Captain USA looking for vengeance on Valentine and Vegas; Wild wanting to get his hands on Vegas and prove he can beat Valentine; Valentine wanting to break the legs of two of the AWA’s finest and Vegas wanting to establish himself as a true power broker in the AWA.
Other Bouts;
Jim Nastic & the Amazing Egghead vs. “the Fighting Frenchman” & “Big Daddy” Walker
“Iron Man” Tim Walker vs. Christian Angers
Also appearing… “Trendsetter” Adam Booker w/ the Beautiful Ms. Kristy… Flash Farenhyte… New England Champion A.J. Storm, plus much more!
All bouts and appearances subject to change. Call (603) 889-3025 for ticket info, and please check out our web site at awaaction.com.
