Chaotic Wrestling makes its debut in South Portland, Maine at the Strive Center
this Saturday night, August 23rd! Doors open at 7:00pm and the show begins at
8:00pm.
Three have already been announced:
MAIN EVENT
"LATIN FURY" LUIS ORTIZ vs. "HURRICANE" JOHN WALTERS
UNSANCTIONED STREET FIGHT
The main event of the evening is actually a match that is not sanctioned by
Chaotic Wrestling. It will pit the former CW Heavyweight Champion "Latin Fury"
Luis Ortiz against the man who cost him the title at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE,
ex-Chaotic Wrestling employee "Hurricane" John Walters, as they do battle in an
Unsanctioned Street Fight!
The rivalry between Ortiz and Walters is quite possibly the most heated in the
history of CW. Both men headed on a collision course for nearly three years to
finally meet 1-on-1 in April 2003 at BREAKING POINT, with WWE Talent
Coordinator Dr. Tom Prichard as the special guest referee. It was the first
ever meeting between the two in a Chaotic Wrestling ring, and the match surely
lived up to all the hype going in. Ortiz was victorious in a 30-minute classic,
and followed that up two weeks later by once again defeating Walters in an I
QUIT MATCH - and after the loss, John Walters publicly quit Chaotic Wrestling
and hadn't been seen in CW for four months. That was until two weeks ago at
SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE, when Walters made a shocking (and unauthorized)
appearance and attacked Luis Ortiz, subsequently costing Luis the CW title.
Directly after that match, CW officials met to discuss what to do about John
Walters. In the meantime, Ortiz all-but-demanded a match with Walters. CW
management decided that they could not tender John Walters a contract to return
to Chaotic Wrestling, but they did fulfill Ortiz's request for a match -
granting a one-time-only meeting between the two this Saturday night in South
Portland in the Unsanctioned Street Fight! Because of the pure hatred between
these two men, it's a lock that Ortiz and Walters will stop at nothing to do
damage to the other and potentially end the others' career. If there is one
match that you don't want to miss this year, this is it. Purchase your
discounted tickets now at our online store!
CHAOTIC WRESTLING HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"LIFE SAVER" BILLY KRYPTONITE (champion) vs. "THE TRENDSETTER" ADAM BOOKER
(challenger)
August 9th will go down as the greatest night in the career of "Life Saver"
Billy Kryptonite, because it is the night that he became the Chaotic Wrestling
Heavyweight Champion by defeating "Latin Fury" Luis Ortiz at SUMMER CHAOS:
RISING TIDE. In a match that was full of controversy, Billy captured the top
prize in CW (and he'll be the first to tell you that he did it "all by
myself").
August 9th is also an important night in the career of "The Trendsetter" Adam
Booker (and his manager Miss Kristy), as Adam outlasted 25 other men to win the
ROYAL RUMBLE match at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE and earn himself a shot at
Billy's newly won title. This is the first shot that Adam has gotten at the CW
Heavyweight Championship in the nearly 18 months he has been wrestling in CW.
And it is happening just a few miles from where Adam grew up in South Portland,
Maine.
<br>
Billy has been outspoken over the past few days about his disdain for the
Portland area (video footage of Billy's visit to Portland this past Wednesday
can be seen on the News page
of www.chaoticwrestling.com - www.chaoticwrestling.com/news.htm), and
Billy has guaranteed that he will defeat
Booker in his hometown. But will Adam show Kryptonite that guarantees don't
mean a thing when it comes to wrestling for the CW Heavyweight Championship,
and in the process win the title in front of his hometown crowd? Order your
discounted tickets now at our online store to find out!
CHAOTIC WRESTLING TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
ATTRITION (champions) vs. BRIAN BLACK & THE MIGHTY MINI (challengers)
Another title match has been signed for this Saturday night, as the CW Tag Team
Champions Attrition (Studd & Angers) take on the popular team of Brian Black &
The Mighty Mini. Attrition is coming off a huge win against their toughest
challenge to date, defeating Adam Booker & Frankie Armadillo in a
no-disqualification match at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE. Black and Mini are also
coming off of victories two weeks ago, as Black defeated a member of rival
Local Legends team, Dukes Dalton, while Mini helped out his friend Handsome
Johnny to beat the Lost Souls.
These two teams have done battle before, with Attrition retaining their titles
in that match. But Black and Mini have now been teaming for about 6 months, and
each time out they improve more and more. Can Black and Mini take all that they
have learned and use it to reach their goal of becoming CW Tag Team Champions?
Or will Attrition continue their dominant ways and retain their belts? And
where will The Local Legends fit into this equation, having been going
tooth-and-nail with Black and Mini for the past few months? Get your
tickets now to see for yourself!
Other items of note going into this Saturday night's show at the Strive Center:
* During the ROYAL RUMBLE match two weeks ago at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE,
Matthew Evagrius lasted throughout the entire match, only to finish as the
runner-up in the bout (tossed by Adam Booker to give Adam the victory). A major
reason why Evagrius lasted so long in the match was what seemed to be an
alliance with a 400-pound newcomer known only as Brian Buffet. Not much is
known about this huge man, but it is evident that there is some kind of unholy
alliance brewing between he and the Evagrius-led Lost Souls. We have learned
that Evagrius will not be in attendance in South Portland on Saturday, but we
have heard that he will be sending Buffet to do his bidding.
* Also wrestling this Saturday night - CW New England Champion "Good Time"
Vince Vicallo, Handsome Johnny, "Intellectual" Arch Kincaid, and more!
