This Friday night, Chaotic Wrestling returns to Methuen with an Old School Bunkhouse Match!
Friday, September 12, 2003 Knights of Columbus 1 Gaythorne Road (Rte. 28) Methuen, Massachusetts Doors open at 7:00PM Show Starts at 8:00PM ----------------
Four matches have already been announced:
MAIN EVENT
BRIAN BLACK &THE MIGHTY MINI (champions) vs. THE LOCAL LEGENDS (challengers) OLD SCHOOL BUNKHOUSE MATCH
The main event this Friday night is a match of "New School" vs. "Old School", as the brand new CW Tag Team Champions, Brian Black and The Mighty Mini will finally do battle against their rivals, The Local Legends (Dukes Dalton and Tim McNeany). The tag team titles will be on the line, and this match will be an Old School Bunkhouse Match! The rules of the match are simple -- no-disqualification, no-countout, anything-goes bout, and all four participants will "come as you are" and not wear their typical wrestling trunks and boots -- instead opting for Bunkhouse attire consisting of jeans, t-shirts, gloves, cowboy boots, etc. And the participants are encouraged to bring weapons as well. It won't be for the faint of heart.
The history between these teams goes back to April, when Mini and Brian paid tribute to the then-retiring Dukes, as Mini donned Dalton's gold cape and top hat to pay tribute to the "'Dancing' Dukes Dalton" persona. But Dukes had plans to teach the young team a lesson, and he joined forces with Tim McNeany to attack Mini and Brian. Then over the next couple months, the attacks and counterattacks got more intense, with baseball bats and other weapons getting involved. The attacks go so bad that Brian Black was sidelined for six weeks after a brutal shoulder-breaker from McNeany. And this feud hasn't only been taking place on CW shows, as this past Monday afternoon, Dukes attacked Mini while he was conducting an interview (video footage of Dalton's attack on Mini can be seen on the News page of http://www.chaoticwrestling.com).
This Friday night, it all comes to a head in the Old School Bunkhouse Match. Will Dukes and McNeany teach one final "Old School" lesson to Black and Mini, and become the new CW Tag Team Champions? Or will the "New School" prevail, allowing Black and Mini to write some "legendary" history of their own? Purchase your discounted tickets now at our online store!
CHAOTIC WRESTLING HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP "LIFE SAVER" BILLY KRYPTONITE (champion) vs. "LATIN FURY" LUIS ORTIZ (challenger)
Back at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE, "Life Saver" Billy Kryptonite became the CW Heavyweight Champion after defeating "Latin Fury" Luis Ortiz in a LAST MAN STANDING match. But Billy's title win was mired in controversy, as "Hurricane" John Walters made an unauthorized appearance and cost Ortiz the match. Over the past month, many people have dubbed Kryptonite's title reign as a fluke - and it has been driving Billy crazy. This Friday night, Billy will be out to quiet his critics and prove once-and-for-all that he is worthy of carrying the CW Heavyweight title. But Luis Ortiz stands in his way, and a pissed off Ortiz at that!
Ortiz is by far the most intense competitor in Chaotic Wrestling. And I don't think anyone in the CW lockerroom wants to get in Ortiz's face after what has happened to Luis over the past 5 weeks. John Walters came into CW uninvited, he cost Ortiz the CW title, he smashed Ortiz over the head with a steel chair, and then Walters was able to defeat Ortiz in an Unsanctioned Street Fight in South Portland. And the worst part -- Ortiz can't get revenge on Walters because John Walters does not work for Chaotic Wrestling. So it is a given that Ortiz will be headed for Methuen with fire in his eyes, and probably placing John Walters' face on any body he sees. One can only feel bad for anyone that stands in Ortiz's way -- and that person on Friday is Billy Kryptonite. Will Billy be able to withstand an enraged Ortiz and prove that he is a worthy champion? Or will Luis bundle up all his anger and frustration with John Walters and unleash it on Kryptonite, and win his belt back in the process? Order your discounted tickets now at our online store to find out!
"THE TRENDSETTER" ADAM BOOKER vs. "MR. MUSCLES" FRANKIE ARMADILLO
"The Trendsetter" Adam Booker and "Mr. Muscles" Frankie Armadillo have been one of the most consistent and solid tag teams in CW over the past 15 months, holding the CW Tag Team Championships on one occasion. Led by their manager Miss Kristy, Adam and Frankie have beaten nearly every team that has stood in their way. Even when Adam was injured for three months, Frankie and Kristy carried on with Adam's full support.
At SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE, both Frankie and Adam were entered into the Royal Rumble match, with the winner earning a shot at the CW Heavyweight Champion. With such high stakes, both men took on the "every man for himself" attitude, as the teammates went head-to-head in the Rumble to try to win the title shot. During the friendly battle, Adam got the better of Frankie and tossed Armadillo over the top. Frankie was a little upset at his friend eliminating him from that match (which Adam went on to win), and has requested a one-on-one match with his tag team partner for this Friday night in Methuen. Who will come out on top in this friendly battle? And where does Miss Kristy fit into this - she has not been available for comment on this match. Get your tickets now to see for yourself!
Other items of note going into this Friday night's show at the Methuen Knights of Columbus:
* It was not a good month of August for "Intellectual" Arch Kincaid. First, he suffered a defeat against his "former friend/now bitter enemy", "Good Time" Vince Vicallo at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE. Then three weeks ago in Portland, Arch suffered another defeat, as he was beaten by the strange rookie Psycho (after Vince Vicallo interfered on Psycho's behalf with a steel chair). Arch has vowed numerous times since his loss to Psycho that he will get his revenge on Vicallo... but he will have to wait, because Arch and Vicallo are in separate matches this Friday night. Will there be any interaction between the two rivals?
* Sparkles, the famed CW Merchandise Girl, impressed many people when she led Vince Vicallo to victory last month at SUMMER CHAOS: RISING TIDE. Now Sparkles has joined forces with "The Promise" Antonio Thomas and "Broadway" Kenn Phoenix to form the newest tag team in Chaotic Wrestling. Collectively known as The Rising, this team will be out to make a name for themselves as they take on two members of The Lost Souls, Peter Mulloy and Brian Buffet - who have been sent by Matthew Evagrius to crush the hopes and dreams of The Rising.
* Also appearing this Friday night - Handsome Johnny, Dr. Reginald Heresy, Psycho, and more!
