Slam All-Star Wrestling's Spring Time Supershow!
1) S.A.W. Tag Team Champions, The Northern Studd & The Bull defeated the team of High 5.
2) Franz Roddy, with his favorite second cousin, Hanz, beat Angel by DQ when Angel used the workout stick Hanz brought into the match.
3) Shockwave beat Bobby Flamingo
4) "Tattooed Ugly" Lenn Oddity, with Miss Montgomery, defeated "The Main Attraction" Mackie Schrody.
During the intermission, as S.A.W. Women's Champion, Alexzandra, was talking about the promotions next event, the Heavyweight Champion, Drake Evans, came out to intimidate her. This brought out Maxx Burton who got in the champion's face. The locker room tried to keep both men separated as they dove at eachother several times. It was a very tense situation that left the fans stunned.
After intermission:
5) "Bad Religion" Maxx Burton, with Alexzandra, beat "The Anarchist" Ian Daniels by submission. Drake Evans was ringside for this match, berrating Burton.
6) Mark O'Mack beat Nero and "Maniac" Martin in an exciting 3-way match.
7) The Main Event: S.A.W. Heavyweight Title match.
Drake Evans defeated the returning J.P. Black by DQ. Evans went to nail J.P. with the title belt after the ref got knocked down. Alexzandra, who showed up to support J.P., got into a tug-of-war with Drake over the belt. Evans did eventually nail J.P. with the belt and then put Alexzandra in the Sharpshooter. This prompted Maxx Burton to dive in for the save. Evans and Burton fought all the way back to the locker room as J.P. helped Alexzandra to the back. The official decision was the referee DQ'd J.P. Black for Burton's interference.
Divine Diversity are on top of the Tag Team mountain and there doesn't seem to be any team that can take them down.
Franz Roddy continues his winning streak as he is undefeated since coming to S.A.W.
Good to see Shockwave back in S.A.W. He and Flamingo have wrestled eachother all around New England and New York and are always entertaining.
Lenn Oddity scored his first victory on Mackie Schrody. The man who loves spoons has a following that is strong and supportive.
The altercation between Drake Evans and Maxx Burton was one of the most intense moments ever seen in the company.
Maxx Burton displayed more of a mat based wrestling style in this match. Whereas Ian Daniels whipped out an impressive array of moves. Burton winning by submission is a definite message to Evans who loves to make his opponents tap out.
The 3-way was exciting as stated before. These 3 guys show no fear in the ring and are driven to perform.
J.P. Black returned to S.A.W. The last time J.P. was in the company was back in November. This being Drake's first title defense, he could not afford to lose. Drake looked very impressive and stood toe-to-toe with the former 4-time N.W.A. Texas Heavyweight Champion. With all the confrontations during the show, the feud between Evans and Burton is now in full effect.
The next show is the "Summer Time Slam Down" on Saturday, June 10th at the Highgate Sports Arena.
