S.A.W.'s "Summertime Slamdown!"
From the Highgate Arena in Highgate, VT.
Commissioner Dick Willard came out to announce that Alex Chamberlain had been stripped of the S.A.W. Televsion title for not making the last 3 shows. He was putting the title up in a single elimination gauntlet match.
1) Gauntlet Match for S.A.W. Television Title.
Match 1) Swinger Sidousky v. Ian Daniels. Winner: Ian Daniels
Match 2) Ian Daniels v. Shockwave. Winner: Shockwave
Match 3) Shockwave v. Franz Roddy w/ Hanz: Winner and New S.A.W. Television Champion, Franz Roddy.
2) S.A.W. Tag Team Championship.
Divine Diversity, w/The Candyman(c) v. HEAT w/Barbie
Winner: still Tag Team Champions, Divine Diversity
3) "Main Attraction" Mackie Schrody w/ Tim Dog St. Pierre v. "Tatooed Ugly" Lenn Oddity w/ Miss Montgomery
Winner: Mackie Schrody
4) Big Vigo w/ Yvonna Leach v. Nick Peet
Winner: Big Vigo by submission
5) Barbie v. C.J. Simmons
Winner: Barbie
6) Maniac Martin v. Nero c. Chris Envy
Winner: Maniac Martin
7) S.A.W. Heavyweight Championship match
Drake Evans(c) v. "Bad Religion" Maxx Burton
Winner: still S.A.W. Heavyweight Champion, Drake Evans
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Franz Roddy's undefeated streak in the company continues. Now he holds the T.V. title. The pressure is on for the Austrian battler.
Divine Diversity retain the titles against Shane Alden and Virus. These teams have really been putting on some solid matches and the fans seem to want more of them.
Mackie Schrody redeems his loss to Lenn Oddity from the May 20th show. With Tim Dog St. Pierre back by his side, this may be the motivation the "Main Atttaction" needs.
Big Vigo thoroughly demolished the debuting Nick Peet. It may just be a matter of time before Vigo gets a shot at gold.
The ladies were in effect with Barbie and C.J. Simmons, who was making her debut for the company. Lots of stiff shots in this one with Barbie winning with her finisher "The Face Lift." Barbie attempted to injure C.J.'s ankle but Alexzandra ran off Barbie from doing any damage. Seems to be a feud building here.
Maniac Martin, Nero and Chris Envy have all been making solid efforts in their matches. They supply the most innovative and fastest action of the night. Nocturne better be watching these guys.
Drake Evans defeats Maxx Burton in their first encounter ever. After Evans knocked Burton into special guest ref, Michael Monroe, Evans hit a DDT on Burton onto the championship belt and scored the win. Age old story, the most insulting way to lose is by your own move and that is what happened to Burton. No word on a rematch.
The next show is set for Saturday July 8th right back at the Highgate Arena for S.A.W.'s "Slam Summer Spectacular."
