S.A.W. presents: "Spring Time Super Show"
Saturday, May 20th.
Highgate Sports Arena, Highgate, VT
Bell time: 7:00pm
At the end of S.A.W.'s last event, Jon Thornhill lost the Slam All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight title to Drake Evans. After Evans locked Thornhill in the Modified Sharpshooter, Thornhill's back had sustained so much punishment that he had no choice but to submit. If he hadn't he could have risked a career threatening injury. Now Drake Evans comes back to the Arena with the gold and awaits his first challenge.
Lately, "Bad Religion" Maxx Burton has had problems with his former partner Big Vigo. There has also been tension building between Burton and Drake Evans, as they are former partners as well. It seems that since Burton has become someone the fans have taken a liking too, these 2 men have resented him. No word on whether Burton will face Vigo at this show or if he will be the one Evans defends the title against.
The S.A.W. Tag Team Champions, Divine Diversity, the Northern Studd & The Bull, retained the titles over HEAT (Shane Alden & Virus) at the last show. HEAT proved they could take the champions to their limit, but the experience of the DD got the job done. Will there be another team to challenge at this show or will HEAT be looking for a rematch?
The S.A.W. Television Champion, Alex Chamberlain, is set to return to action on May 20th. The title will be defended and many wrestlers have been vying for a shot. Slick, Franz Roddy, Reed James, Michael Monroe and Lenn Oddity have all made claims to be the next contender.
Ian "The Anarchist" Daniels is not making any friends as he walked out on his partner, Tim Pittman, at the last show. Daniels has to watch his back. Someday he might cross the wrong person.
Also scheduled to appear, Scotty "By God" Vegas, Johnny Primer, the team of High 5, Alexzandra, Miss Montgomery, The Candy Man and more.
